We're a café, wine bar and bourbon bar on Washington Street, right in the middle of Ellicottville village. Come in for coffee and a breakfast sandwich before the lifts open, or for a cocktail after the last run. Holiday Valley is 1.5 miles up the road, and HoliMont is just west of the village on Route 242.
Our bread comes from our sister shop just down the street, the Ellicottville Bake Shop.

Baked down the street
Our sandwiches and toasts start with bread from our sister shop, the Ellicottville Bake Shop, a short walk down the street. Sourdough is the one to try.
Take a loaf home, or have them bake for your group.
The main dining room
We serve breakfast sandwiches, build-your-own bowls and wraps, flatbread pizzas and salads, all made to order on bread from the Bake Shop. In the evening the room turns into a wine bar, with European wines, Western New York beer, bourbon and our specialty cocktails.

The bar
Our new side bar, built around a real chairlift. Stop in on your way down the mountain for an espresso martini, a glass of wine or a local beer, plus a few bites. Grab a seat on the chair while you're here. It holds up to 15, so it also works for a small private party.

Downstairs
Our bourbon bar and lounge is on the lower level. It holds 50, with a curated list of bourbon and whiskey, classic cocktails and soft chairs by the old stone wall. It's also a good room for a private party.

The coffee shop
Our beans are organic, sourced from Peru, and we pull espresso from 8 AM. You'll find seasonal lattes and cold brew at the counter, and you can take a bag of beans home or have one shipped.

Catering & group events
We can host your birthday, shower or team outing in the bistro. If the party is somewhere else, we'll cater it for you, with Bake Shop pastries in the morning and Alpine spreads at lunch.
Upstairs
There are rooms above the bistro, right on Washington Street. Walk downstairs for coffee in the morning and come back up after the last run.

Our drop-off catering comes out of the Alpine Bistro kitchen: sandwich platters, sliders, hot pans and sides, plus drink packages if the party is here. Call to order, or for pickup.

Alpine Bistro started with fresh, seasonal ingredients and simple food done well. We wanted a room where people sit down together, whether they've come in for coffee, lunch, or a bourbon after dark.
Sunday through Thursday 8 AM to 4 PM, Friday 8 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 9 PM. Hours can change with the season, so check this page or our Instagram and Facebook for the latest.
